About

When the Rain Returns is a romantic family drama set between Accra and a quiet coastal town in Ghana. When Amara Mensah, a successful young interior designer, returns home after her mother falls ill, she unexpectedly reconnects with her family's troubled past. There, she meets Kofi Adjei, the son of a man her father has spent decades blaming for a financial scandal that divided their families. Despite their families' bitter history, Amara and Kofi fall deeply in love while working together to restore an abandoned community centre. But their romance is threatened when Amara uncovers old letters and documents suggesting that the truth behind the family feud has been hidden for years. As secrets emerge, the couple is forced apart, until a long-buried confession finally reveals who was responsible for the original betrayal. With the truth exposed, two families once divided by anger begin to heal. And as Amara and Kofi find their way back to each other, the return of the rain becomes a symbol of forgiveness, renewal and a love that survived the past.
