About

AGAINST OUR WISHES Forty years of hatred. Two powerful families. One forbidden love. When two wealthy Nigerian women, Victoria Adebayo (Senior Vee) and Beatrice Okafor (Queen Bee), reunite at their secondary school's 40th anniversary celebration, an old rivalry explodes into a public confrontation. What begins as a battle for respect and recognition quickly reopens wounds from a mysterious scandal that happened decades ago. But there's one secret neither woman knows. Victoria's daughter, Amara, and Beatrice's son, Daniel, are deeply in love and planning to get married. While their mothers are determined never to see eye to eye, the young lovers must decide whether their relationship is worth risking everything. Will love finally end forty years of bitterness, or will their mothers destroy the happiness they've found? AGAINST OUR WISHES is a captivating Nigerian billionaire-family drama filled with explosive confrontations, hilarious rivalries, romance, betrayal, shocking secrets, and unexpected twists. Two mothers who cannot stand each other. Two children who cannot live without each other. The war has only just begun.
