About

Amara Nwosu is a young woman whose ordinary life begins to unravel after she becomes connected to the powerful Adebayo family. What begins as an unexpected encounter soon turns into something far more mysterious when members of the family begin treating Amara as if they know something about her that she does not know herself. During a tense family dinner, Iya Moji asks Amara a simple but disturbing question about her mother — a question that leaves Amara confused and suspicious. As Amara begins searching for answers about her family and her past, she discovers that the Adebayo family is hiding a dark secret that has been passed down through generations. An old blood oath binds the family to a promise that cannot be broken without consequences. The closer Amara gets to the truth, the more she realizes that her connection to the Adebayo family may not be a coincidence. Secrets buried for years begin to surface. Loyalties are tested. Relationships become dangerous. And Amara is forced to confront a truth about her identity that could change her life forever. Some family secrets are inherited. Some are paid for in blood.
