About

Precious, a young Lagos woman, has always felt strangely connected to water. After mysterious dreams and an unexplained voice begin calling her name, she falls into Lagos Lagoon one night. Instead of drowning, she discovers she can breathe underwater—and finds a breathtaking hidden kingdom beneath the lagoon. There, Precious learns that the underwater kingdom is not a fantasy. She has a forgotten connection to it, and her mysterious past is tied to a woman who vanished from her life when she was a child. But the kingdom is hiding something from her. As Precious begins uncovering the truth about who she really is, she discovers that her return may threaten the balance between the underwater kingdom and Lagos—and someone in the shadows desperately wants her to never remember the truth.
