About

In the powerful Al-Muhari royal dynasty of Northern Nigeria, Princess Hadiza has always believed her mother died from illness. But on the night of a royal ceremony, a mysterious box and a hidden collection of letters shatter everything she thought she knew. The truth leads Hadiza into the darkest secret of the palace—the Royal Silence, a centuries-old tradition created to eliminate royal women considered dangerous to the line of succession. As buried secrets begin to surface, Hadiza discovers that her own family may be responsible for her mother’s disappearance. Her father knows more than he admits. Her brothers have their own interests. And the woman who raised her may be connected to the crime. Then Queen Mariam delivers a devastating revelation: “Your father is telling you only half the truth.” Hadiza's mother may not be dead. She is alive… and waiting. Now Hadiza must uncover the truth behind her bloodline before the palace silences her too.
